Following the ground-breaking ceremony on April 17, 1993, the company achieved a remarkable feat by completing construction and machinery erection within just 11 months. The first car rolled off the assembly line on May 26, 1994, and the official inauguration was graced by the then-President of Pakistan, Sardar Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari, alongside Mr. Kawamoto, President of Honda Motor Company Limited Japan. Listed on the Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad Stock Exchanges, Honda Atlas Cars quickly expanded its footprint in Pakistan. Car bookings began on July 14, 1994, with six dealerships in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Today, the dealership network has grown to include thirty-seven 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts), twenty 2S (Service and Spare Parts), and five 1S (Spare Parts) dealerships across major cities in Pakistan, all adhering to global Honda standards. The company has been instrumental in promoting local vendors by ensuring that a significant percentage of parts are sourced locally, aligning with government policies while maintaining stringent international quality standards.
